Buildmo / Capabilities

One shop. Full stack of hardware.

Design, fabrication, integration, fielding, and training, all under one roof. We take you from "we have a gap" to "our operators own the system."

Cap 01 / Prototype

Rapid prototyping & engineering

Concept to working hardware in six weeks. We design for the field, not the demo. Every prototype is built to be dropped, soaked, misused, and repaired with what's on hand.

Operators are in the loop from the first build. We iterate against their feedback, not a requirements document that was frozen a year ago.

Design
CAD & design engineering — from napkin sketch to manufacturable model
Additive
3D printing — rapid iteration, field-repairable parts
Fabrication
CNC, welding, laser cutting — metal and composite work in-house
Electronics
Boards, wiring, sensors — integrated and bench-tested before fielding
Recent builds
Mobile laboratories · purpose-built drones · maritime sensing platforms
Cap 02 / Integrate & field

Systems integration & global fielding

New technology is only useful if it survives the real world. We take commercial and new technology, toughen it, build it into working systems, and deliver it where it's needed. Four continents so far, including some very rough places.

Our engineers deploy, so these decisions are made by people who have carried the gear, not just written the spec sheet.

Conversion
Commercial-to-field — ruggedize, integrate, certify
RF systems
SDR & counter-UAS — built and tested in-house
Flight
Drone build & flight test — including a full day of flight testing on trainings
Delivery
Global fielding — logistics, install, and on-site shakeout

Cap 03 / Sustain

Operator training & sustainment

We don't hand off black boxes. Every build comes with the training to run it, fix it, and change it. That habit comes from Innovation Bootcamp, the hands-on program we have run for more than 8,500 service members and government officials over ten years.

Bootcamp also runs on its own: three- and five-day courses that teach your team to prototype their own solutions.

Format
3-day and 5-day intensives — at our shop or deployed to yours
Drone course
Build & fly — flagship course ends with a full day of flight testing
Fabrication
CAD & 3D printing — design-to-part in days
RF
SDR & counter-UAS — understand and counter the threat
Custom
Tailored curricula — built around your mission and your gear

Tell us what you need built.

Most engagements touch all three capabilities. Start with the problem — we'll scope the rest.
