Before joining the private sector, Glenn served in the US Intelligence Community for 31 years — senior positions include Director of Science and Technology for the CIA, Deputy Director of National Intelligence for Collection, and Associate Director of CIA for Talent. He led new endeavors in technical collection operations, analysis of space and advanced conventional weapons systems, information operations, and identity intelligence.

He served as Executive Vice President and Senior Fellow at IQT from 2017–2022. His honors include two Presidential Rank Awards, two National Intelligence Distinguished Service Medals, three CIA Director's awards, and two CIA Distinguished Service Medals. He is an engineering sciences graduate of the New Jersey Institute of Technology.

Brad thrives on the toughest technical challenges in demanding environments. His expertise spans optics, polymers, material characterization, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, and advanced material systems. He has deployed in war zones and disaster areas, rapidly developing solutions and fostering community self-reliance, and is a strong advocate for global resilience, technology independence, and workforce development.

A published author and TEDx speaker featured on Amazon Prime's Regular Heroes, his recognitions include CEO of the Year (2021, Washington Business Journal), Best Veteran-Owned Business in America (2021, US Chamber of Commerce), Best Overall Business in Alexandria (2021), and Inc.com Best in Business (2021).

Dan's relationship with Building Momentum began when he walked into the Garden for a friend's wedding in 2019 — got lost, and realized he was exactly where he was meant to be. His continued interest and behind-the-scenes assistance led to him joining as CEO in 2025.

Previously he worked in management and strategy consulting focused on defense and space: autonomous systems, foreign military sales, defense acquisitions, strategic planning, and corporate restructuring. He served six years in the US Army and is a combat veteran, with additional experience in local and state government — including the Fairfax County Planning Commission — focused on workforce and economic development.

Dr. Vega has worked in rapid prototyping and product development for the Department of Defense / US Army Rapid Equipping Force, including time in Afghanistan as a scientist developing solutions on the battlefield. He also consults on failure mode and effects analysis for lithium-ion batteries, ceramic transducers, and automotive electronic systems.

He received his PhD and Master's in electrical engineering from Purdue University, with graduate work on an InP-based quantum-well reflection modulator for high-speed direct space-to-time pulse shaping, plus expertise in optics/RF photonics, semiconductor device fabrication, ultra-high vacuum systems, and digital manufacturing.

Ned graduated from West Point and spent sixteen years leading Cavalry units around the world, culminating as Executive Officer/2IC of a Squadron through training, deployment, and security operations in Afghanistan. He then spent six years in the Pentagon at the Army's Program Analysis and Evaluation Office and as an Army Budget Liaison to the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Defense.

After retiring from the Army, he pursued the industrial arts as founder of a business making custom storage for the X-Wing Miniatures Game and as a Member Ambassador at TechShop Arlington-DC. Ned has been with Building Momentum since 2018.

Irfan was Vice President of Innovation at the Noble Reach Foundation, leading efforts to commercialize government-funded R&D into impactful ventures across government, academia, and industry. At In-Q-Tel he built and led a team of engineers evaluating emerging technologies for national security missions. At Boeing, he began as a design engineer on the V-22 Osprey, was promoted to lead a team of senior engineers, and later spearheaded international sales campaigns and modification programs for the CH-47 Chinook. He is also the founder of Machine.Complex.

He holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon, a master's in systems engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School — where he received the Wayne E. Meyer Award for work on cost-effective missile defense — and a bachelor's in mechanical engineering from Temple University.

Jennifer is widely recognized as a leading expert on national security issues spanning foreign affairs and defense, international trade and economics, cyber, AI, and emerging technologies. From 2010 to 2025 she served across the State Department, the U.S. Mission to the United Nations, the House, the Senate, the Pentagon, USINDOPACOM, and the National Security Council.

As senior advisor to two Chairmen of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and a Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, she played a critical role in the AUKUS Security Partnership, the 20-year renewal of the Compacts of Free Association, and North Korea sanctions in CAATSA (2017). She is an Adjunct Senior Fellow at the Center for a New American Security and holds an MA from Johns Hopkins SAIS.

With over 30 years of executive leadership in media and telecommunications, Chris led the extraordinary growth of AARNet for 21 years — extending Australia's advanced network infrastructure across universities, health and research organisations, and schools, and building the largest cyber security operations centre in the Southern Hemisphere by data volume.

He holds an Executive MBA from UNSW, held key executive positions at Optus including Managing Director of Optus Business, and is a past Chair of the Internet Industry Association of Australia. He was awarded the Order of Australia for services to telecommunications and Australian/US relations, and in 2025 received the Communications Day Edison Award for Lifetime Achievement.
